Without a doubt the most famous building in New York, if not the world, the Empire State Building soars more than a quarter mile into the Manhattan sky, offering visitors breathtaking views from both the 86th floor and 102nd floor observatories.

On a clear day visitors can see up to 80 miles, viewing the states of Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts, as well as New York.  Since its construction in 1931, this National Historic Landmark has been visited by more than 117 million people -- greater than the population of most countries.

If the Empire State Building was magnificent when it first opened it has only improved over the years. The lighting scheme is changed regularly to commemorate many holidays and occasions throughout the year. The lighting schedule and what it all eamsn can be found on the Empire State Building's official website, linked above.

The Empire State Building has earned its reputation as one of the most famous attractions in the world.  A visit is both fun and educational.  Group discounts for 10 or more people are available (for groups, one person must purchase all tickets).

In today's world tighter security is called for just about everywhere. The Empire State Building is no exception. Check the official website for current visitor information.
