The Heritage Center's Meeting House replicates the gathering place for early Mennonites' religious services. Here visitors can learn their story through an engaging video presentation and a variety of exhibits. Work and Hope is a permanent exhibit that covers three centuries of the works and hopes of local Mennonites, from their first arrival to Penn's Wood to modern times. The Fraktur Room highlights this beautiful artwork brought to America by the Pennsylvania Germans. A one-room Schoolhouse can also be seen here. Changing exhibitions focus on various aspects of Mennonite culture and history and frequently include demonstrations. Tours can be enjoyed by individuals, families, and groups of all ages. School Group Tours for up to 25 children feature costumed guides and demonstrations around both permanent and changing exhibitions.
