Founded in 1977, this unique educational resource exists to bring the culture and folk heritage of the Polish people to others. The Museum contains documents, artifacts, paintings, displays and exhibits that illustrate the important achievements by people of Polish heritage, highlighting their contributions to the fields of medicine, education, art, science, and political theory.

Visitors will learn more about the lives of people such as Madame (Sklodowska) Curie, Ignacy Paderewski, and others, as well as important events such as the Christening of Poland in 966. Paintings and drawings by Polish artists depict Polish writers, political and patriotic leaders, and generals and soldiers who dedicated their lives to helping Poland, America, and many other countries in gaining and maintaining independence.

Throughout the year the Museum sponsors a variety of Family Events and activities such as art expositions, auctions, stamp and coin exhibitions, concerts and recitals, lectures, field trips, and more.

A Research Library and Archives are available to students, and a Polish Supplementary School for children and adults offers instruction in Polish and English, in art and dance.
