Just about everyone has had a Hershey Bar. Despite the current fitness craze, chocolate remains the passion of many people around the world.

The chocolate experience can be seen as well as tasted on this tour ride through Chocolate World, where visitors experience the making the fine chocolate.

The tour begins with an exhibit demonstrating the harvesting of cocoa beans in South America. Then, ingredients are carefully weighed and blended. After demonstrating the entire process, the tour closes with the welcome sight of hundreds of chocolate bars and Hershey's Kisses on conveyor belts. Then comes the free sample.

Up until 1973 the tour actually went through the main plant. But with nearly 2 million visitors per year this special exhibit had to be created. The tour is fun, educational, and enjoyed by people of all ages.

Hershey's Chocolate World also includes a great cafe with good food and, of course, great desserts. Eight gift shops offer everything from baked goods to Hershey collectibles to custom-molded chocolates and more.
